Find "Killing the Host" by Michael Hudson and you will get enlightened. The thing is "the Dog" (i.e. Humanity) got infected by parasites, and currently "the Parasite" is so big it does not let the Dog see reality as it is.
Michael Hudson's book (or even his shorter interviews) should explain this.
