Big Day Out.

Big Day Out.

I personally don't like to attend to events like Big Day Out. It seems pointless to me. You basically barely hear the music and barely see the musicians. What else would be the point? Atmosphere probably... but this is not for me. I am so unsocial kind of freak!

I understand what you mean, but actually, I found the Big Day Out very different to that. Compared to some of the festivals in Europe it was small and quite imtimate. When there was a band I wanted to see and hear, I was able to get close enough to make eye contact with the players and the music was easy to hear. It was all laid out well. I suppose we all have different likes and dislikes.

I take your point. All we have different likes and dislikes and of course I respect all of them. Nevertheless I don't like the compromise of sound quality by the crowd of spectators on stadium. It is my personal dislike. I also prefer the most of musicians faces to stay undiscovered by myself so I could imagine them according to my impression made by their music rather then my eyes. It is my personal like.
The last argument is my incredibly unsocial personality. I hate the crowd of strangers crowling around me!
I've also mentioned here as the start sentence of this topis that the traffic on roads gets to its perfect madness when such an event is happening. It is also the thing I hate.
Now you can see how many points I have to not to attend to anywhere near the Big Day Outs venue.
